Checkboxes in Advanced staff properties for standard staves have no effect

Ubuntu Studio 14.04, GIT commit: 0f756f2

1) new score, key of A
2) right click staff, Staff Properties
3) Advanced style properties
4) uncheck "Key signatures"
5) OK, OK

Result: key signature still displays

Same is true for ledger lines & stemless. The checkboxes don't stick - as soon as you close the Advanced dialog, reopen it, and you'll see those three checkboxes have already revert back to the defaults.
