Locked on Desktop / Can't create a new score

For me, I just open up Musescore 3. I get the UI and everything, but the Score/ Create new score options don't show up.

The screen that has Musescore three freezes up and I can't do anything to close out of it - other than Ctrl+Alt+Delete. I can't create a new score or edit existing ones on ANY version of Musescore 3. Is there by any chance that this has happened before? Or am I the first to report it?
