I got a crash when testing the changes from https://github.com/musescore/MuseScore/pull/5166/files using Xcode Debug build.
The scenario is similar to what we had before:
1. Run MuseScore
2. Revert to factory settings
3. Switch workspace to Advanced
Result: randomly reproduced crash.
Same in the build prepared by make -f Makefile.osx release
