Open dialog in a 2 screen environment - 2 Problems
OS: Windows 10 MuseScore: 3.3.0.8737
- Open an older MuseScore file in 3.2 or 3.3.
-
Sometimes the open-dialaog appears in the foreground of the MuseScore screen.
Thats ok and useful.
-
But mostly the dialog is shown in the background of the main screen.
If there are active windows on this screen - even MuseScore windows - the dialog is
invisible and MuseScore "hangs" until the dialog is found and answered.
The second problem:
After that dialog, when such a file shall be saved, MuseScore ignores the original filename
and generates a new one according to the scores title.
Additionally, MuseScore "forgets" the original directory of the file, pointing to the standard directory.
In every case in the past I wanted to replace the older file with the new formatted one.
At least a wish for a new feature:
In every case in the past I answered the dialog above with "Yes".
It would be very helpful to have a checkbox in this dialog where
we can choose "Don't ask me again".
