MuseScore quits (the program closes) a few seconds after startup. This happens every time I start MuseScore, since I updated to the lastest version.

This does not happen if I open MuseScore by opening an existing MuseScore file; in that case the program works as expected.

Status active ⇒ duplicate

This is a known problem. I don't feel like looking for the many duplicates of this right now but it's been reported.

To fix it, use edit->Preferences and uncheck "Show start center"
