Or select a range and by Inspector set chord to small.
cue notes, enter normal notes , and , after, select those you want, and, in the INSPECTOR click MINIATURE (in french) perhaps Small Notes

Often you also want to mark them as silent, not playing. You do that in the inspector too.
You need voices too, and maybe full measure rests.
