Repeated crashing on start up

Musescore 3 has started simply shutting down as soon as I start it up. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling but I still get the message "The last session closed unexpectedly, do you want to restore?" Whether I click yes or no the same thing happens. Sending a report simply generates another error message. I have loads of files on this and I'm really desperate to get them back. Please can you help?

Go to, create an account (which has already been done if you are posting here) and download a PD (public domain) score, you'll understand what PD is when you see it on a score. If it doesn't start MuseScore automatically, which it usually does on windows, you can double click it in the file manager to start MuseScore.
