Delete Voice
Hi
Can someone help please. I am trying to remove a voice from a line of music.
Is there a simple way of doing this?

Right click, Select->More-> All Similar->Del (in a range selection? https://musescore.org/en/handbook/3/selection-modes#range-select );
Or use Filter (F6).
Did you ever find a way to delete the entire voice line while leaving the other lines intact?

Filter (F6)? https://musescore.org/en/handbook/copy-and-paste#selection-filter
Explain better what you want to get and attach an example (a *.mscz file)
My daughter helped me figure this out!
Click "i" which opens up the Instrument menu, click the line you wish to remove, then click "remove from score". Voila!

That removes an instrument, not just a voice

Thank you. That is what I was trying to do.

thanks so much for this. That is exactly what I was struggling with too. I don't find the help section of muscore very helpful after switching from sibelius, but I suppose I will get used to it in time. Mike cox

What help system? The handbook? See https://musescore.org/en/handbook and read it one, front to back. Time well invested, promised.
Click F6 to open the selection filter. Click on All and then on the voice you want to remove (Say Voice 2). It should be the only item in the filter. Then select the measures you want the voice removed and hit the delete key. All of that voice is removed. Go back to filter and select ALL to make sure you can make normal selections. I do this all the time when as when I copy a section with multiple voices to another instrument staff where there is only one voice.

Exactly the information I needed, for exactly the same reason as yours. Thanks!
