Percussion staff: mouse click wrongly enters voice 1 percussion in voice 2

This issue goes back to MS 2.3.2 and before. Under certain conditons, voice 1 notes are wrongly entered in voice 2:

  1. In an empty measure, enter a "Bass drum 1" note (using the shortcut "B" or by clicking "Bass drum 1" in the Drum Input Palette (DIP), then clicking on the staff).
  2. Click on "Acoustic snare" in the DIP.
  3. Click on the first beat of the measure.

Result: Note is entered in the correct voice (1).

  1. Repeat steps 1 and 2.
  2. Move the cursor back one step with the left arrow key.
  3. Click on the first beat of the measure.

Result: Note is entered in the wrong voice (2).
