As discussed in forum, #300847 Paste Double duration / Paste Half Duration discoverability these menu entries are missing from the Measure and other context menus

Since (based on the discussion so far) there is no reason to omit these entires, and they would not be cluttering the context menus, for the sake of consistency and flexibility, they should be added.

Compare the Edit (application main window) menu
(looking at only the edit-related menu entries between the separators, e.g. leaving out entries below Delete)

  • Cut
  • Copy
  • Paste
  • Paste Half Duration
  • Paste Double Duration
  • Swap with Clipboard
  • Delete

With Measure, Note and Rest

  • Cut
  • Copy
  • Paste
  • Swap with Clipboard
  • Delete

Workaround: use the menu entries from the Edit menu.

Aside: as a potential future task, they may be combined with Swap with Clipboard behind a Paste Special menu entry on both the Edit and context menus:

  • Cut
  • Copy
  • Paste
  • Paste Special ->
    • Paste Half Duration
    • Paste Double Duration
    • Swap with Clipboard
  • Delete
