Dipthong on lyrics
I was wondering if there was a way to write dipthong in lyrics. In sibelius it was by typing "_", which would work as a curve to denote dipthong.

Unfortunately you have to use special characters for this. See https://musescore.org/en/handbook/lyrics#elision This is something that should be easier since it's so common in Romance languages.

You can copy the symbol from Special Characters to your favorite custom palette to maker it easier to access.

It seems to be necessary to first insert a space (Ctlr+Spacer) then select the note and click.
The old system seems better to me.

There seems to be a glitch with the elision character specifically where when you first add it, appears to overlap other characters strangely. But it fixes itself the moment you complete editing.

Works for me, just drag directly from Special Characters to my own palette. What goes wrong when you try?

Difficulty in inserting it into the lyrics. I will try again later (in the *mscz file the results of a first test).

Should work to simply click the palette symbol while editing the text. I do this all the time, the only slight issue is that sometimes keyboard focus remains in the palette so I need to press Esc to return to the score (it stays in Edit mode).

I don't think so
Update for elision shortcut:
As of 3.6: Ctrl+Alt+- or AltGr+- (Mac: Cmd+Alt+-).
