MuseScore3exe has stopped working
Hello dear friends,
I'm new to the forum, and somewhat of a technophobe, so please bear with me.
This is the first time I've encountered any kind of problem using Musescore, however it couldn't have happened at a more inopportune moment. I have several online classes coming up this week and I'm unable to access the program, as it keeps crashing the moment I try to open it.
Perhaps someone could help me ?

Which (exact) version of MuseScore and on what operating system?
Does it start properly if you double click a score file?

Hello, Thanks for the prompt reply !
I just updated to 3.5.0 ( about an hour ago), although it had been crashing on the older version as well.
My OS is Windows 8.1
To my surprise It does work when I double click a score file in my documents.

Upgrade to 3.5.2 which was released this morning and the crash should be fixed. see https://musescore.org/en/3.5.2

This is known problem then, fixed in 3.5.1, see #275837: MuseScore crashes during start-up while displaying "Start center"

I just upgraded to 3.5.2 and it fixed the problem. Thanks for the link, Mike.

Great! This is the first time I've seen an average user say the fix worked for them. I'm now more confident in it.
