Fixes

  • Fixed an unexpected page stretching in "Edit style" dialog
  • Fixed an issue with audio export on Windows, previously exporting to .FLAC or .OGG could result in an empty file that cannot be played
  • Fixed an issue of harmony playback preferences. Previously, the real value of "Chord symbol playback" was not taken into account until the first toggle of this setting
  • Fixed a potential crash that could occur when resizing the Piano Roll

For the time being, I suggest the 64 bit windows users wait. The install directory is currently wrong. I'll update this when I see it's fixed.

I uninstalled and re-downloaded/reinstalled. The crashing problem stopped; however, the playback no longer talking to my computer (I get the dynamic playing screen, but no sound). This is 64-bit Windows. I see your advisement to wait; is this part of the problem set?

The issue with the bad version download for Windows (of a development version) is now fixed.
Everyone who downloaded and installed those previously already should uninstall and download and install afresh.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

If you downloaded the first version, it was put into a folder that said it was a development build and did not replace your previous version. If you update again, it will replace your previous version (and the wrong 3.5.2 will still exist).

If think you have probably found the #275837: MuseScore crashes during start-up while displaying "Start center" bug then start MuseScore by double clicking a score and disable the start center.

My musescore has not worked since I updated the program to version 3.5.2. The program simply crashes. Version 3.2.5 works fine on my PC. What happened?

Color me confused...

I am running 3.5.0.12799 since the Beta version was updated a while back. I use MuseScore daily yet not once has it advised me there was a new update, even when I check manually via Help/Check for Update as I have for weeks. When I do it says "3.5.0.12799 is currently the newest version available."

Now I discover there is 3.5.2. How come my version isn't telling me there is an update available?

FWIW - Check for new version of MuseScore is checked in Preferences/Update.

I have Musescore 2.3.2
Is there an upgrade for a osx 10.12.6 that will allow me to open my 2.3.2 scores ?
Thanks
