Dynamic articulations not working
Hello! I'm writing a piece with the built-in flute soundfont, using 3.5.2. I want to use accents on some notes, but they seem to have no playback effect. Staccatos and tenutos work as expected, while marcatos do make the note shorter, but also don't change the dynamic. I've also tried editing the velocity of the individual notes but that doesn't seem to do anything either. Any pointers would be appreciated.

Try putting an fz or sfz on the notes and make them invisible.
Very strange, accent marks are supposed to work for playback. There was a bug in some previous version where they were too harsh and I remember that being fixed. Not sure what's going on now.
Velocity, though, will indeed not affect notes that use single note dynamics - volume is controlled instead by CC messages.

Ah OK. FYI I had the same problem when I tried sfz instead.
