Title Realize chord symbols: dialog missing in menu option Realize chord symbols: menu entry under Tools disabled in if chord symbol had been realized already
Workaround No Yes

Well, it is not missing, but disabled, greyed out.

If a chord symbol has been realized already, where's the point in realizing it again?
If there's a bug, that in the right-click menu, where that item should get disabled too, isn't ist?

Anyway, selecting the symbol again and the menu entry is enabled again.

Also instead if in the right-click menu it should IMHO rather be in the Inspector.

I've rechecked and the original report stands. The menu option always omits the dialog and realizes the chord directly. The right-click option includes the dialog. And, BTW, the menu is always greyed out: just tick it to activate it.

Severity S4 - Minor S5 - Suggestion

This is currently by design. But it's a valid suggestion to reconsider this design someday. Personally, I'd just as soon see the dialog go away and have both versions of the command just do the job directly.
