I open a new score based on a "Lead Shette Jazz" model for example. The model has 4 measures per system but when I validate with "Finish" this notion is lost and my partion has 17 measures per system. In other words, the model is useless in this case.

That is perfectly normal with templates and score creation and has never been different. If you want 4 measures to the system, run the corresponding tool after score creation
