Version 3.6 and 3.5.2 / Windows 10

Steps:

  1. SATB template, some notes in top staff, repeats, and multimeasure rests at this end.

  2. With this test file, attached below, go to Preferences/Advanced -> Check SmoothPan/enabled and SmoothPan/Cursor/teleportLeft - > Ok
You are here: SATB Smooth mmR disabled.mscz

  3. Launch playback: good, as expected.

Now:
4. In Format/Style/Score -> tick "Create multimeasure rests" -> Ok
5. Save your score/ Reload
You are here: SATB Smooth mmr Enabled.mscz
6. Launch Playback: wrong, the score seems to be stuck on the spot.

Note1: I voluntarily attached the files in Page view (to avoid the issue we know with continuous view and repeats). Put it back in Continuous View for playback.

Note2: as mentioned in step #5, if you want to create your own file for verification, the issue does not appear immediately. After activating the multimeasure rests, you have to save, then restart to see it in action.

Note3: I see the same behavior with 3.5.2 (which is not surprising I guess).

NB: I'm a bit surprised not to see this issue reported in the Issue Tracker (or maybe it escaped me for the moment?)

Comments

I guess with 'SmoothPan" being well hidden in the advanced properties (and being new with 3.5) it is not very surpsising that this bug hasn't been noticed yet
