When trying to install 3.6 the installer want to delete 3.5 which is nog available on my laptop, which you can see in the uploaded screenprint.
As this is an update *.msi it's neither possible to install it in a new mapping.

Indeed, on Windows it's a bad idea to delete the installers for currently-installed programs, this is what happens. You will need to re-download 3.5.2 first. Maybe someone here will know how to direct you further, but in general, you will get better results using the Support forum when asking for help - many many more people there who may be able to assist.

I downloaded the file through your link.
But executing the MuseScore-3.5.2.311459983-x86_64.msi gave the same result as MuseScore-3.6.2.548021803-x86_64.msi
It refers to a non-existing path C:\Users\GEBRUI~1\AppData\Local\Temp\Update-fdbc4d4d-fadb-4dfb-a57d-02f600c77c67\ in the preinstalling fase of the proces.

I found that version as well. Tried to Install it, but it popped up with the same path:
C:\Users\GEBRUI~1\AppData\Local\Temp\Update-fdbc4d4d-fadb-4dfb-a57d-02f600c77c67\
Then I started the install of 3.6.2 and choose for REPAIR, when offered as an option.
Thereafter I copied the msi-files of 3.5.0 and 3.5.2 into the (new) Update-folder
Then I installed 3.6.2 again and choose for REMOVE when asked
And finally I choose for INSTALL.
Now I'm working in MuseScore 3.6.2 !!!
