OS: Linux Mint 20.1, Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore version (64-bit): 3.6.2.548021370, revision: 3224f34

The "View" box (top toolbar), when clicked, sometimes does not drop down properly and, instead, presents within the confines of the original box—like a spinner. This can persist over several sessions and then, for no apparent reason return to normal.

Comments

To reproduce (works on a 15½ inch, 1366 x 768 screen):

  1. Open MS anew with nothing in the document window.
  2. Tile the window along the bottom half of the screen (in Linux Mint use Super/Winkey + down arrow, twice).
  3. Open a score. Click on the Page view box.

Expected result: The page view options drop down.
Actual result: The options do not drop down but stay within the box (like a spinner)

Even if you maximise the window, the bug in page view remains. In order to remove the bug, you have to close the document window, then shut down the program. If you shut down the program with a document still open, the view bug returns when you reopen the program.
