Cannot Read File
So suddenly this morning almost ALL my simple ... duets ... scores have X's through them and will not open. There is no discernable pattern ... some of equal age will open sometimes just other versions of the same score ... what happened?

What do you mean with "have X's through them"?
WHere do you see these "X"'s? In your file browser on your computer (eg, Explorer on Windows, Finder on macOS)? Or the File / Open dialog within MuseScore? in the recent files list in the Start Center? Or on the score-sharing website musescore.com (in which case, best to over there on that site)?
