Is there any hope that this may be fixed in the near future?
I have switched to MuseScore now for processing and printing all my old ABC tunes and this broken add-on is especially frustrating.
The XML workaround on a mac is not so straightforward (I'm not so command line oriented) so it would be great if the add-on could be fixed.

"Fatal error: line 5 column 7 Opening and ending tag mismatch." For past two days i have been getting the same error message. tried to find a download for the ABC import plugin, but no joy there. In a way i am glad it is not just something on my PC and laptop but a more general fault that has suddenly happened. Very limiting as I import a lot of ABC files. Let's hope a solution is found soon.
