This seems to be a relatively new issue. In the MS3 online handbook, some images now seem to have too much vertical space. And other images which formerly aligned with the baseline of the text now have the wrong vertical alignment.

Confirmed, it is not just inline images but also kbd notations
<kbd><kbd>+</kbd></kbd>, which should shows as +, like here in the issue tracker. Seems to work fine for the MuseScore 4 handbook though.If there's also an image in the same line, that is.
