input midi keyboard
I cannot enter notes by my midi keyboard, though I have clicked on the icon 'switch on midi input' above. It's a Mac Airbook. The keyboard works on garage band. Do I need additional software? Do I need to choose some option in Musescore? Thanks for helping

Make sure your keyboard is connected and turned on before you start MuseScore.

Xs. It was connected. - Though, after restarting my computer, it works.
Be sure you didn't actually turn that button off - it's normally on by default. If it's on, and the keyboard was on and connected before starting MuseScore and it still doesn't work, fo to Edit / Preference / I/O and see if it needs to be selected there.

Thanks. button was on, - Though, after restarting my computer, it works. Hopefully, problem is solved permanently, otherwise I can return to your tip. :-)
Can I use it for my own work , but not just for the music?
