Issue:
When using instruments with multiple staves, playback doesn't play duplicated notes across staves if previous duplicate note is still held, instead ignoring the note and playing the duplicate note after the original notes value has ended.
Replication:
1) Create new piano score
2) Add any note to treble clef
3) Add note of identical pitch to bass clef before full duration of first note has ended
4) Playback will ignore second identical pitch and instead play it after duration of first note has ended.
Workaround:
Split identical notes into separate voices

I can repro this bug. I've attached a score that makes it a bit more apparent. It seems to behave differently with an organ than with a piano. For the piano, as described above, the second note sounds briefly after the conclusion of the first (possibly long after its actual position). For the organ, however, the second note sounds as written, but cuts off the first.
I have this problem too in a piano score where the right hand plays a two-note chord and then the left hand plays the same chord. It's notated with overlapping durations because this is how similar measures are written when there is no overlap in pitch. I could work around the problem with a combination of visible and invisible voices, but would rather not. All would work well if the second notes terminated the first ones prematurely.
I had been using Muse Sounds (Grand Piano or Upright Piano) but when I switched back to MS Basic, the problem went away.
