Issue with Tremolo Engraving in MuseScore 4
Here are tremolos from a song I wrote in MuseScore 3.6:
And when I import the score into MuseScore 4.0, I get this:
Although I like a lot of the engraving improvements, there are some changes I don't like. I am bothered by the off-centered location of tremolos in the new MuseScore 4. I understand this engraving reflects some rules on tremolos and invisible stems (see https://musescore.org/en/node/306442), but I would like to have the option of tremolos to be in between notes as in MuseScore 3.6. I consider this a regression because although I can get the MuseScore 4-style tremolos in 3.6 by flipping the note direction of one of the notes, in MS 4 I'm stuck with these invisible-beam tremolos, even if I try to flip the note directions. As score-writers, we should have the final option of choosing how we would like our tremolos to appear. Therefore I would like the in-between notes option of tremolos from 3.6 to be preserved in 4.0 (it doesn't have to be the default style, but should be an option).

I recommend raising this issue on GitHub, and attaching your actual score as well as just the picture.

I already linked it in the description :) It's not as obvious as yours though
You mean #306442: Incorrect placement of tremolos between whole notes?
That's not GitHub
Edit: ah, other way round
Anyway, closing as a duplicate of the GitHub one

#306442: Incorrect placement of tremolos between whole notes had existed way before 4.0, this #339387: Issue with Tremolo Engraving in MuseScore 4 is specifically about the regression in 4.0 I think

I often miss the obvious. But two refs are better than none.
