Removing bar lines
Hello,
I'm writing a piece of music for the piano which consists of different blocks, each one consisting of one musical phrase. Those blocks have different time signatures but what I would like to do is to be able to insert the barlines myself instead of trying to figure out the time signature of each block. Is there a way to start a project with no bar lines or to remove the bar lines of an existing project? Thanks in advance

You can Ctrl+Del barlines, that effectively joins the measures

a 'fake' barline: select note that should be the 1st after the barline and click on barline in the palette
a 'real' barline: select the note that should be the 1st in the new measure, then use Tools > Measures > Split measure, or Ctrl+clicck a barline in the palette
