WAV Files
When I create a score on Musescore 3, I can download the score onto a jump drive, place the drive on my Rolad 2000 and playback with perfection. When I upgraded to Musescore 4, I can't do this anymore. The song ont he jump drive refuses to play. I have tried to save it in various formats...no luck.

What format did you use in MS3? I'm guessing Midi.

WAV (.wav)
It is the only file my Roland 2000 will play. I am using an external drive. The other songs I created in MS3 play to perfection. They are on this drive. I have been doing it without a hitch from MS for years.
It is behaving like a codec or something is missing. I am not sure.

Sorry. old brain dead guy here. MS4 wav must have some different attribute. You might check that you are exporting MS4 files at the same sample rate as MS3 files. You probably are.
You might try different sample rates.

Okay... so to check the file's integrity,
Can the song on the jump drive be played on something other than the Roland?
For example, if your operating system is Windows, will the song on the jump drive play using Windows Media Player?
As I read your owners manual, your keyboard can only play 16 bit wave files. MS4 wav files are a different default rate than MS3 files. That might be the problem. If you like, I can make some test files to see if you can play them.
(assuming it's a .wav format issue) As a temporary workaround, you can try opening the .wav file in Audacity (which can be download from MuseHub) and re-export it using settings that work. What those settings are, though, I wouldn't know. It's also not a good long-term solution, though, since it's a hoop you shouldn't have to jump through. Ideal would be if MuseScore offered more options than just bitrate in the export dialog.
