If a score crashes for whatever reason, and when I reopen musescore and select yes on the pop-up that says "The previous session quit unexpectedly. Do you want to restore the session?" the score will then reopen, but selecting any note or measure will cause an instant crash. Happens very reliably when following the conditions of restoring a session and selecting anything. I have tested this numerous times on multiple scores (which either means it's not based on a single score with some sort of issue, or all my scores have some kind of issue with them) by using the Windows task manager to close musescore forcibly while in a score to enable the restore session pop-up to open on the next launch. I have found 2 work-arounds: 1. select something before the audio samples have finished loading, shown as a loading bar at the bottom left (which makes me think this may be a musesounds-caused issue?), and 2. just reopen the score from the scores menu instead of restoring the session, which may cause lost progress.
