Guitar Tabs
Literally all I am trying to do is put a note on the 7th fret on the 2nd string, and it moves it to 2nd fret on the 3rd. Is there a way to change this or am I going to have to entirely abandon my transcription?
Edit: it appears to work completely fine until I change the tuning to D standard and then it breaks
Edit 2: I added a second guitar and it now reliably works completely fine

Please attach your score to check what happens (maybe related to a specific tuning, you talk about a D tuning - what do you mean exactly? - or/and confusion about how enter frets number, I don't know)
That's why we need to see what's been done for appropriate help.

The D tuning I talk about is DCGFAD
In a bit more words, I click on the string where i want the note, click the number 7 on my keyboard, and it automatically creates a 3 on the next string up instead. This is to say that I literally cannot enter a fret number higher than 4 without it putting the note on the next string up
