"Permanent" mark when converting from MusicXML

I imported a file I created in Sibelius in MusicXML format. The Sibelius file had a copyright mark in it. When I loaded the file in MuseScore, the Copyright mark appeared twice: once in an ordinary box which was at the top, and once at the bottom. The one at the top is deleteable, but the one at the bottom is burned into the page in some fashion. I cannot select it, even in a select-all, and when I delete the actual header (Title, authorship) the copyright mark stays stuck at the bottom. It's almost like it is a part of the background rather than something editable.
