I'm using voltas with multiple repeats. Because of crashes (related to voltas, I believe) with 2.0b, I used Nightly-2014-10-11-1907-daf97e1 to finish the attached score. Now I can open it in 2.0b and edit it some more and play it. The main score repeats four times. There is a playback issue with the voltas.

Measures 7-8 comprise volta 1,3 (intended to play during repetitions 1 and 3) and play fine.

The unnumbered two measures to the right of that comprise volta 2,4 (for play during repetitions 2 and 4). This section plays the first time through as well. That is the wrong behavior.

The expected behavior is for this volta to play only during repeats 2 and 4.

Note that this volta correctly does not play during repetition 3. the only wrong behavior is during the first time through the score, where Volta "2,4" plays when it should not.

The rest of the piece plays as expected, including another pair of voltas at the end. The end volta "1.,2., 3.," starting at measure 14, plays correctly the first three times through. The final volta for the finale thereafter plays correctly the fourth and final time through. I am including this further information for completeness' sake.

There's no repeat bar at the end of the 1st ending - that's why it doesn't I guess maybe you don't *want* it to repeat at the end of the first ending - you just want it to continue, skipping the 2nd ending? Music notation doesn't work that way. Voltas are just for endings of phrases, to be used before the repeat. If you want a phrase to repeated but with something different in the *middle*, you will need to simply write it out twice, or use some other combination of repeats and DS's to get what you want. Realistically, you are almost always better off simply writing it out twice.
