Dotted 8th/16th Swing
Not a bug, but a question of process.
I'm transcribing a piece where the intended sound is swing, but the notation uses dotted 8th and 16ths. Is there any way to achieve this?
Thanks

The dotted eighth/sixteenth will give you a pretty close approximation of swing. I don’t know if using the built-in swing options would make much of a difference.

Dotted eighth/sixteenth would be a 75% swing. The default swing is 66%, IIRC

Which is why I said an approximation!
So, what would you do? Rescore it in straight eighths, and then apply the swing?

It's looking like that might be my best option. There's a LOT of of dotted 8ths/16ths, though, and I honestly would rather not have to redo the whole score. I don't suppose that find/replace would be of any help?
If it's going to mean doing the whole score, I think I'll settle for things as they are. This is only a scratch track to help some singers learn their notes. (because apparently I have more time on my hands than they do)
Thanks for the input.

Do you have a Find/Replace feature in 4.5? I can't find it (hah!) It seems that it was in earlier versions. Was it removed? I only see Find/Go To in the Edit menu.
