Load Error and No Back Up Anywhere

• May 20, 2015 - 15:56

So yesterday I started making a composition in MuseScore 2.0.1 and had been working on it for several hours, saving regularly. At the end of the day, I saved one last time, closed the program, and turned off my laptop (Windows 8, not 8.1). Upon clicking the file this morning, I get an error simply saying the file can't be read. The window had no explanation as to why it couldn't be read, and I have attached a screen shot of the message. I did some searching through the forums and hand book and could not find a similar problem where no explanation was given in the error message. Several post said to check for back ups, so I tried to do so. However; even after revealing hidden files via the control panel, I have yet to find any back ups of my score. I have check document, appdata\local\MuseScore, and literally every folder in C:\Program Files (x86)\MuseScore 2. If there is somewhere I missed, please tell me. I know for a fact the auto save was on as it's on by default and I only just today found how to turn it off (I've only had this program for a few days). If there is a post on this that I just completely missed PLEASE give me a link so I can fix this. I have also attached the .mscz file if someone wants to see the error for themselves. Trying to load in a debug build shoes:
Warning: QZip: not a zip file! (...\MuseScore\thirdparty\qzip\qzip.cpp:503, void MQZipReaderPrivate::scanFiles())
Debug: can't find container.xml (...\MuseScore\libmscore\scorefile.cpp:686, QString Ms::readRootFile(MQZipReader*, QList&))

So I'm afraid this file is lost.
You may find older version of it, check https://musescore.org/en/node/52116
