Problem with Create - Line

ACCESS DENIED is what I get.
There seems to be no fix to my problem. I CANNOT use the CREATE (lines) box at all. As soon as I try to drag something from the box, everthing simply ENLARGES beyond use. I have XP professional and have downloaded Music Score 9.6 three times now.......NO CHANGE. HELP!
