Playback question
I'm new to Musescore and need some help. I've arranged a violin duet with piano accompanyment. On playback the violin parts are so loud I cant hear the accompanymnet. Is there any way to increase or decrease the playback volume on separate parts? Thanks All!!

Have you placed appropriate dynamics on the score? If not, definitely start with that. If some tweaking is is needed beyond that, then see View / Mixer.

Hey! That was great. I didn't know about the mixer. I made the adjustment and it's all balanced now. Can you tell me if it's possible to isolate each part for playback by itself without having to export the part to a different file? I'd like to playback each part individually. Thanks for your help.

Also, to create separate parts, you don't need to export to separate files. Just use File / Parts to generate the parts, and they are stored in the same file, and linked to the score so changes to one automatically update the other. Then you can switch between score and parts at any time just by clicking the appropriate tabs.
