An usual way to prepare a score is 1/ to write the chords 2/to work the layout 3/ to add final touch..
Sometimes the mouse, during phase 2 or 3, move some chord, unnoticed. Would be nice to have an option allowing to freeze the chords during phases 2 or 3.

Well, I for one don't really understand what it means to "freeze" a "chord". I do understand the general desire to completely lock a score to make it immune to all changes, but this request seems to be for something different.
"Chord" referring in general to notes?
How I read it (as i can understand the request) is that when we use the mouse to drag notes for the layout spacing, one sometimes accidentally also changes the pitch.
I believe the request here is for a "lock pitch" mode, having the mouse only affecting the visuals/layout of the score elements.
