Cant merge scores
I placed three scores in an album. When I tried to merge them I got an error message saying, Error while creating score from album. A note is that they do not all have the same parts if that may be the problem.

Hmm, even though the instruments werent the same it still should've merged right? It just would have deleted stuff?

figured out how to fix it, then couldnt find french horns, so had to go through long tedious process to merge what i want using filler instuments, temporary albums, and alot of pain.
I believe you were right the first time - the scores have to have the same number of parts.
Indeed, see https://musescore.org/en/handbook/album
hmmm..i don't know if merging is the right term for this query but i have been trying to finish a task i was given and i have faced a challenge..the intro part of the song and the SATB has to come together in one file..i have been trying for about a week now and yet i haven't discovered how to do it yet. i have attached the sample picture of what i am working on and the 2 separate files i have done so far. i need to put those two together just like in the sample i am given.

Indeed album won't work here.
So add 2 instruments to the SATB score, for the intro and the female voice, insert enough measures at the beginning, copy the intro and the female voice, then "Hide empty staves" and disable "show all staves in first system"
