MuseScore allows to insert images and text. Several objects can be located at the same place, so that they overlap each other. MuseScore don't arrange objects properly automatically, so I propose to add QSpinBox for editing ZValue of QGraphicsItem's inherited objects.

I can see a possible use for such a property where slurs are partially hidden by the white space around fret markings in tablature. e.g:
