can't choose from all instruments when creating new score
**ON OSX YOSEMITE 10.10.5**
I want to create a new score using a custom set of instruments but only have access to a few (see Picture), however, i can select a template that has more than what i need and i can get instruments that way, but there has to be an easier way. for instance i want to write for a pep band, but i can't get all the instruments, but if i go to the concert band template i can write on there. PLEASE HELP!!

Seems the next instrument should be an EB Flute and the b is where it gets truncated, very strange.
Could be eine corruption in the install, maybe you could try to install again, from a fresh download?
Maybe a factory reset helps?
i tried redownloading and now i don't have any instruments
Better reset your MuseScore to factory settings. Instructions are in the handbook.

My guess is the instruments.xml file was either corrupted or replaced via Edit / Preferences. Reinstall and/or Revert should fix it.
