Version 2.2.1 (ditto in current 3.0 dev.) / Windows7

1) New score eg for Soprano: 3 measures, a tied note in the first measure which extends to the second measure (under a volta)

  • The test file at this step: test1.mscz
  • Other one: with a second volta and an added note: test2.mscz

2) Launch the playback

Expected result : the sound stops from the empty measure 3 (for the first test file)
Current result : the G continues to be heard in this measure 3 (ditto in second test file)

  • Major priority for its highly unexpected nature.

Difficult to believe it (at least for me!), but that is a very former issue which may be reproduced throughout the previous versions and years back, until May 2014, with this nightly: [f2b3068]

FWIW, it's not really surprising to me, because in "most" cases the note will also be tied into the second ending, so the current behavior actually produces exactly the correct result. If we fix this, we should also figure out a way to get the second ending to sound right in the more usual case where the note is also tied there. Which we also need to figure out to support more directly.
