I am curious why, when I add a new voice and (say) quarter note to a bar, rests propagate to the next bar?
I find that this makes editing a greater chore.
I think the rests should be restricted to the bar unless there is a deliberate move into the next bar.

End user, take the answer with the benefit of inventory.
MuseScore believes that you will also include Voice 2 in the following measures.
A little boring, but you can select them and press Del.

Yes I know I can thanks but that can become messy. Is it necessary to do that just to stay in entry mode?
I still would like that not to be the case.
