1) The program keeps crashing every time I attempt to open it. The start center doesn't open during this, either. It usually asks me if I want to restore the session, before crashing and asking me to send a report. I have attempted to uninstall and reinstall the app, restart/shut down my laptop, open MuseScore via a score rather than the shortcut, to no success. This has been going on for about 24 hours, I'd say.
It first shut down and crashed during a series of glitches while I was working on a score. Since then, I haven't been able to open up the app again.

If you can double click a score and get the program to open, disable the start center in preferences.
If this doesn't work then run MuseScore from the command line using the -F option. See https://musescore.org/en/handbook/revert-factory-settings and https://musescore.org/en/handbook/command-line-options and

Hi, and thank you for your help.
I tried all of these options (clicking on a score instead of the actual software, and reverting the app back to factory settings), and none of them have managed to fix the problem. Is there any other way I can go about this?
Thanks
If you did it correctly, especially reverting to factory settings, then I don't know what else it could be. When you revert to factory settings it's important that the F be capital, -f means something else.
The program is trying to start and something it's loading is causing the crash. Another option I haven't seen needed for quite some time is -w to keep MuseScore from trying to connect to the internet. If that gets it running, that could be a starting point for trying to figure out what's causing the crash.

Ok, so it has nothing to do with the internet, cuz I just turned it off and checked.
I reverted it back to factory setting using the Win+r command and selecting musescore out of my files, this didnt work.
Did I do it wrong?
Thanks
using Win+r navigate to the proper directory and type musescore -F
It really sounds like the solution from what you're describing. Turning of your internet is not the same as running musescore from the command line (Win+r) with the -w option.

Ok, it's been fixed. Thank you very much! :)
