Since the yesterdays 3.0.5 update, I cannot close the »Search for updates« dialog. Cancel- / OK-click and pressing ESC won't work. My workaround is, to move the dialog to the screen border :-(
OS: macOS Mojave (10.14), Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore version (64-bit): 3.0.5.21343, revision: 58dd23d
Any ideas for a quick workaround?

There's a setting for that in preferences, does setting that help?

No, the preference settings won't help. The dialog's preferences will be saved and restored successfully, but the initial updater dialog appears anyway.
