Seems if it's a new computer, there is no longer any reason to continue to saddle yourself with the limitations of older versions. Just saying...

since spojaw has been around so long, I suspect he has quite a version 2 library with lots of customizations that would take a while to fix in version 3. I would want version 2 on my new computer for this reason.

And MuseScore 1(.3) too (at least I still want and need it), On Windows though the PortableApps may be enough for those cases.

I used a 1.x version long enough to see I didn't like it so I have no songs in 1.x. I rediscovered MuseScore in version 2.0.3.

I still have almost 600 scores in MuseScore 1.x format that are not yet converted into MuseScore 2 or 3.
And more than 330 in MuseScore 2 format not yet converted to MuseScore 3.

Thanks for understanding. That.s exactly it as well as I.m sharing files back and forth with my pianist and we.d both have to learn '3'. window 10 is enough for me to learn to navigate.
