How to input this
Attached is a page of the score I'm trying to input. It is in 2/2 time. Specifically the flute part at the top. There's 2 whole notes connected by a triple beam/bar in a 4 beat measure. I'm not sure how to do this, or even if v1.0 is capable of doing this. I'm thinking it is some type of gliss, but I'm not sure. Same problem with the clarinet and piano parts.

It's called tremolo, and yes, 1.0 can do it: http://musescore.org/en/handbook/tremolo. Enter the two notes as half notes, then select the first, double click the symbol on the tremolo palette (or drag the symbol onto the note), and it turns into two whole notes. You'll probably need to position things manually a bit afterwards.
