Exiting mscore without editing some score: mscore crashes with segmentation violation.
Start mscore without editing some score, then leave mscore: -> crash with segmentation violation. This happens on Fedora 24-x86_64.
I added an strace of mscore (See attachment mscore.strace.txt)

A stack trace from a debugger would be more useful.
No crash on Windows
Any relation to #105606: Quitting MuseScore, #99606: sporadic CRASH on exit in QNetworkConfigurationManagerPrivate::pollEngines() on unixes (corrupt stack?), #52601: Crash on Quit?
Its a known bug of Qt5.7. With the Qt5.8 release candidate MuseScore does not crash on exit.
If so, and as we document that there is a requirement to use Qt 5.6 (the LTS release) with master currently and as Qt-5.8 seems to fix what Qt 5.7 broke and because any of this is out of our hands anyway, we can as well close this issue, can't we?
I think, we can wait (no qt5.8 available on Fedora 25 :-( )

Joachim Backes
Qt-5.8 is not yet released, just a release candidate. But with MuseScore you should really be using Qt 5.6 anyway, at least as long as that is the most recent LTS (Long Term Support) version.
