Crescendos cross the bar line
This may seem like a small issue, however when inserting many crescendos and trying to make them look nice, it is a huge annoyance that the tip of the crescendo crosses over the bar line. This requires manual readjustment. Since hairpins must be anchored to two notes, would it be possible to adjust the positioning slightly so that it doesn't cross the barline? In non-whole-note measures, maybe it would be better to anchor it to the last note in the measure? Either way, it would increase entry speed greatly if the user was able to just drag a crescendo onto the score and not have to readjust it for aesthetics.

I like the idea here to select the size of the hairpin by selecting the "span" with 2 notes.
Don't know how hard this is to code. Similar approach to : http://musescore.org/en/node/12492
