Double/half duration wrong for dotted notes
I'm putting this as a feature request because it is probably by design due to difficulties MS has with dotted notes. Currently pressing Q on a dotted 1/4 note results in a plain 1/8 note rather than the expected dotted 1/8 note. The reverse is also true, dotted 1/8 note + W = 1/4 note (no dot).
The request is for the double and half durations to work properly on dotted notes. I'm forever pressing 4 to get a 1/4 note and if it's dotted (or double dotted, I have a shortcut for that) I have to delete it rather than press W to fix it :(

And I'd call it a bug. What difficulties with dotted notes are you talking about?
2.1 of course. I keep forgetting to add the note for other versions I use.
I'm pretty sure this is deliberate, but it's worth asking if it really is what most people would want.

MS doesn't make dots invisible when you select a measure. That is probably a symptom of something more. Everything else (including (de)crescendos) turn invisible.

This was fixed in #175461: Add commands: Shift-Q "Decrease duration dotted" and Shift-W "Increase duration dotted" So I'll call this one a duplicate.
