1. Have no file open.
2. Open one, or more MusicXML.

Result: The top menus 'Create', 'Notes', 'Layout', 'Style' and 'Display' are greyed out.

Discussion: If you open another file, the greyed out menus will become available.

Using MuseScore 2.0 Nightly Build (fdd8040) - Mac 10.7.5.

Could you provide more detailed information on how to reproduce ? Yesterday I could not reproduce the issue using the current trunk (which is ddb0eba) on Linux (SUSE 12.1). Either I don't understand or it is platform dependent. Can you reproduce the issue on a PC (Windows or Linux) ?
