Time signature change
I have tried to change the key signature using the manual but each time I get 17 bars in a row. Help!

Once you start entering notes, the measures will become wider and auto wrap will move the extras to the next lines. Just go ahead and enter your song. When you're done you can always select the empty measures and delete them with ctrl-delete.
